Partnering to Contribute to our Local Schools

Community, Relationships and Growth; these are just some of the core values that the Team at Spotless, Orana and Yaanma share.

With a shared focus on giving back to our local communities, Spotless, Orana and Yaanma are coming together for a shared initiative at one of our local schools, La Perouse Public.

The collaboration initiated by Spotless, will see renowned Indigenous Artist Garry Purchase produce a bespoke mural for the school’s new early learning centre. Garry is a proud Aboriginal man of Dharawal, Bidjigal and Dhungutti descent. He grew up in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs in Botany and was raised amongst the Aboriginal community of La Perouse.

The project will take 1-2 weeks for completion and aims to enhance the school’s new early learning centre as well as celebrate and promote the school and wider community’s culture and values.

“It is great to see three individual organisations come together for a shared community project. La Perouse Public is a beautiful coastal school and it gives us great pleasure to be involved in a project that will contribute positively to the student’s experience and learning.”

La Perouse Public School’s Principal Lisa Haller says she is very excited about the upcoming project and thrilled to know the mural has been commissioned to one of the community’s most renowned Indigenous Artists.

The project which is due for completion early next month showcases the incredibly positive impact that supplier diversity can have on the local community.
