Orana Completes Design & Construct for Colo High School

10.08.2018

Earlier this year, Orana Services were engaged by strategic partner Facilities First, to deliver building and project works to Colo High School. The project based at the local North Richmond High School required a partner who could develop and build a bespoke Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) for the school Facility.

As a school driven by excellence, this project required a team with a strong track record of delivering works in similar educational environments. Orana’s track record of working across multiple school projects for the Department of Education, meant our team were well placed to take on this project.

The project was delivered with great success with Colo High School’s Principal, sharing in the enthusiasm & excitement of this job. The design and construct of the outdoor learning area, was not only a success amongst the students and teachers at Colo High School, but it was also a great success for the Orana team.

The project works made way for additional full time positions within our trades team, allowing us to employ three full-time Aboriginal staff (pictured below).

(Pictured Right: Orana Trades Team onsite at Colo High School) Corey Dotti (builder), Damien Coolie (Carpenter) & Cory Carr (Cadet) have all come on board as full time employees as a result of great projects like Colo High School.

We are proud of our ever-growing team and the great work they continue to deliver!
