Matraville Sports High Kitchen Upgrade

This month the team at Orana are proud to be commencing works at one of our local community schools, Matraville Sports High. The works initiated by Spotless will see school equipped with a new kitchen which aims to improve and enhance the school’s facilities.

The installation of the new kitchen is being completed in line with the Clontarf Aborginial Program. The Clontarf Foundation exists to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and by doing so equips them to participate more meaningfully in society.

Orana Services will be donating their time and services to the project and are proud to have the project delivered by their majority Indigenous Trades team. Cooper Stevens (Pictured Below), is the newest addition to the Orana Services team and will be working closely with the projects delivery team to complete the new kitchen installation.  Cooper is a young Indigenous Apprentice of Bidjigal descent.

The project which is due for completion next month will be followed by an official opening ceremony.
