Orana & Spotless partner with Clontarf to build new kitchen at Matraville Sports High

In August this year, our team entered a joint initiative with Spotless and the Clontarf Foundation to deliver a kitchen upgrade for the students at Matraville Sports High.

The works which were originally initiated by spotless, aimed to provide an enhanced activity and recreation area for students who are engaging in the Clontarf program.

The Clontarf foundation is a an organisation that exists to improve education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Men.

Our team were proud to work with Clontarf and Spotless on this initiative by donating plumbing services to the project. Our majority Indigenous trades team worked closely with the school to have this project finalised for Term 4 and just in time for the official opening.

The opening was held last Friday and attended by many local community members, including local Member for Kingsford Smith, Matt Thisthlethwaite.

Matt said the project was a great testament to the high level of care all organisations shared for the school and local community.

One of the many great things about a foundation like Clontarf is it’s ability to bring people and organisations together to support a good cause. It is incredible to see two community minded organisations like Spotless and Orana Services come together and join resources to support Clontarf and assist Matraville Sports High in building a new kitchen for students to enjoy now and well into the future.”
